Monday 12th July - Two Interesting Years

I cribbed this from our local church magazine:

INTERESTING YEAR 1981
1.      Prince Charles got married
2.     Liverpool crowned Soccer Champions of Europe
3.     Australia lost the Ashes
4.     The Pope died

INTERESTING YEAR 2005
1.     Prince Charles got married
2.     Liverpool crowned Soccer Champions of Europe
3.     Australia lost the Ashes
4.     The Pope died

LESSON TO BE LEARNT

Next time Prince Charles gets married, somebody warn the Pope!

Thanks for the SMILES this morning! I never thought about celebrating washing and ironing, but it's worth it. Everyday things are wonderful.

Hope your Monday is a Merry one!

It was my pleasure to write about your blog last week! And good for your husband for his cooking--my husband cooks, bless his heart. One of life's true blessings--a man who can cook! I don't know if you've been to his site, Dr. Scott Rains writes for our blog sometimes and has his own blog on travel and issues in the tourism industry of interest to people with disabilities. His work appears online at http://www.rollingrains.com/
Keep up the great work!

Yes, warn the pope and be sure to let me know so I can bet on the Liverpool soccer game.

Hello dear. I hope that you are doing well. Hugs, Lura

I'm happy to find you, after your remark today (Friday) about husbands and the temperature at "UP north". Isn't it uncanny that cold people and hot people keep hooking up? Is that the origin of "opposites attract"?

We went into a restaurant for breakfast on Monday to meet some friends, and they remarked on my being dressed for the cold, and Good Guy being in shorts. Typical.

This post of yours is too funny! I'll have to direct some stateside laughers to scope it out. Poor pope!
