How thick can you get?

Well, no wonder I couldn't find you a picture of  Keith's first wooden masterpiece..  It was actually in my phone. not the computer!  But do I know how to take them off the phone?  Do I heck!  So I needed to take some more - with the camera this time - but the battery had gone flat.  Have I a spare battery?  Have I heck!  So I charged up the battery and took these pictures:

Not bad for a first attempt eh?    Small but perfectly formed..

It is beautiful! So interesting that Keith made a wooden bowl for his first project - - - so did Fisherhubby! Maybe I'll show it on my blog one day. I know RIGHT where it is since the move!

That's just beautiful, whether it's his first or his 100th. I love it, so smooth and warm.

Wow! that's incredibly beautiful! I love wooden bowls - the big dough bowls just amaze me and the intricacy of the smaller ones...but I've never seen one quite so smooth and gorgeous! He did a great job. :) blessings, marlene

Angie - That is EXTREMELY impressive - top stuff Keith!!! That's a very professional job there... A little cottage industry/Ebay PowerSeller is born!

I dabbled with crafts when younger, did quite well. Alas, the day came when my parents saw the latest result of their daughter's summer class and pronounced it the greatest clay pig they had EVER seen.

It was a mouse.

I moved on to tapestry not long after that.

And you are NOT, NOT, NOT thick! Anytime you have pix on your phone, text them to me (like the Sal one) and I'll whizz 'em back to you via email.

Still no snow here. Jasper is annoyed. Slightly pacified by his dinner, but annoyed nonetheless.

Stay safe in the white stuff (the snow, not Keith's sawdust...!)

love,

Ruth & Jasper xxxx

This is great work, Angie, and on the first try, no less. I'm impressed! I just have to make sure my wife doesn't see this, or she'll expect me to start doing beautiful work too.

It is wonderful...looks like Keith has been doing it for years. The finish looks so perfect, I know from my late BIL's attempts how difficult the finish can be..
Good on you Keith.
Love Sybil xx
