But I'm Still Here....

Yes, I am.  I may have been hawked off to the hospital for a few days but here I am again, still stuffing my face with "poorly grapes" while the "poorly chocolate" sits in the fridge waiting my attention when I'm on my own!

There was a lovely surprise waiting when I got home.

It was HUGE!

Such stuff as it had in it!  Cereal bowls, toast rack, tea pot, mugs, jug, boxes of breakfast cereal .................... and even the enormous wicker basket you see here!

And all of this was my prize in Marie's giveaway over  here

Thanks Marie - I wouldn't like to have been the delivery woman but it was a delightful thing to come home to.

Just a quick aside:  has anybody else noticed Woman's capacity for reading absolutely anything when they're in hospital?  How, when someone goes home, the others swoop in like vultures on the pile of trashy magazines she left behind?

So sorry you were in hospital for a while.

I've been absorbed into subbing and a wedding - - - not necessarily in that order - - - and I haven't been around to "my blogs" in a while, so just now saw this.

So glad that you are out of hospital! Also glad that you enjoyed the breakfast hamper. My goodness but they did a great job with that! How wonderful! I want one! I expect that those in the hospital were just glad of something more recent to read, if the mags that I have seen in the hospital are any indication of the quality of reading material! Usually months out of date and in sad, sad shape! Love you loads! xxoo

So happy to hear you are on the mend; yes a stage at the hospital sure makes you appreciate tome. I've been there a few times. Love that toast rack; new to me.
Take good care,
Hugs,
Rita

A very nice welcome home present indeed! So much more useful than a get well card, huh?

I love breakfasts, especially in England. (Like I'm too dim to fix a couple mushrooms and a tomato to go with my breakfast in Michigan). It's just not the same.

I'm glad you're back home----and hopefully doing OK.

The delivery man must of thought it was a cereal killer!

Andy beat us to the punchline! Oh dear... we're feeling flaked-out now, hehe. SO glad you're back and on the mend Angie; we were so worried for you. xxx

What a lovely haul of prizes as well; that's a nice collection there. The wicker hamper is fantastic as well (I like hampers!) - even if it does look uncannily like Father Jack's Underpants Hamper (from Father Ted)!

Take care of your self sweetheart.

Welcome home, dear! And what a nice surprise to come home to. (Is it me, or are those cereal bowls wonderfully large?)
